Norman Yusim is a family lawyer and a partner with Fillmore Riley LLP. With almost 40 years’ experience in family law, Norman guides his clients through separation and divorce, parenting issues, child and spousal support and family property accountings, and division of property.
During the course of Norman’s practice as a family lawyer, he has honed his mediation and arbitration skills to help clients resolve family disputes outside of the court system. He is a founding member of FAMLI and played a role in establishing educational standards for mediators and arbitrators in Manitoba. He is also a member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba.
Norman has a long history of contributing to his profession. He is an appointed member of the Law Society of Manitoba’s Ethics Committee. He is also appointed member of the Special Committee on Regulating Legal Entities. A sought-after speaker on family law matters, Norman has lectured at the University of Manitoba’s Law School and Community Legal Education Association’s events. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of FAMLI.
